As of January 1, 2009 our advertised prices for Traditional models only will follow the Breyer MAAP price guidelines and all orders over $80 will be shipped free via UPS Ground service or Priority Mail in the continental U.S. except where noted. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged UPS 2nd day air rates.

WHAT IS MAAP?
MAAP stands for Minimum Acceptable Advertised Pricing Policy effective January 1, 2009. A new law passed by Congress gives the manufacturer the right to establish minimum prices at which their products may be advertised by authorized dealers and retailers. If a dealer or retailer does not adhere to this policy the manufacturer can refuse to sell them their product.

2010 WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES
Breyer will be the official model horse maker of the 2010 Altech FEI World Equestrian Games to be help at the Kentucky Horse Park from September 25 to October 10. 2010. The new model #9101 Esprit, a new sculpture from Kathleen Moody, is the official model horse of this year's games. To commemorate the event, Breyer also has #9103, three-horse Classics set, and #9104, a eight piece Stablemates sets. Each model in the Stablemate set represents on e of the eight disciplines featured at the games: jumping, events, dressage, *reining, *endurance, *driving, *vaulting and *para dressage. Starred models are new sculptures. In addition to the models, Breyer will also have a store, display and hobby demonstrations at the Park.

CLOUD: THIRD INSTALLMENT
This fall, the PBS Nature series aired the newest installment of the Cloud story. “Cloud: Challenge of Stallions” follows Cloud, the wild mustang from ages 5 through 13. The set, #1391, includes models of Firestorm, Bolder, Image and Ember

ETHEREAL SERIES
The 4th model in the Ethereal Series, #1333 Water, is now in stock. The first three models in the series, #582 - Earth, #1339 - Wind, and #1340 - Fire are still available. Call or e-mail for price of all four models.

FOUR SEASONS COLLECTOR'S EVENT
This year's Treasure Hunt features three draft horses representing Spring, Summer and Fall. Collect all three, send in proof of purchase and Breyer will send you the fourth model in the series, Winter, in a surprise color. Remember, this is a treasure hunt and the models are being shipped to retailers in a random manner so that all models will not be in stock at all times. We suggest you place your order as soon as possible. Offer ends January 30, 2011.

ELCR
Again this year, sales of the 20010 Breyer benefit models will go to ELCR, Equestrian Land Conservation Resource. Breyer will donate a percentage of the sale of #1428, glossy red dun, to equestrian organizations working to conserve open land so there will always be space available for riding horses and growing fields of feed.

PLEASE NOTE:  There is always some confusion about the stock numbers of stablemates in the brochure and dealer catalog.  Stock #5907 refers to a dealer display assortment of twenty-four individually packaged models but all twelve stablemates picture in the assortment are available separately from Bentley Sales Company.  If you are ordering from the brochure match the model with the description on the price list to find our stock number.
