Relax and visit with special people who have made their way here from different parts of the country. Enjoy the gracious food and southern hospitality of the Marriott Griffin Gate located next to the Holiday Inn. Enter our Equine Art Contest and Animal Sounds competition to join in the fun! Dinner starts at 6 p.m., followed by the Peter Stone Auction at about 7:30 p.m. See you there!

Maximillion is a replica of a real bay pinto stallion. Turquoise is the next
addition to the Precious Stones Series. As each piece of turquoise is different,
each Turquoise model will be different also! Color will vary from the light
sample on the bottom to the dark sample on the top. Receive Maximillion, Turquoise,
or both with your dinner ticket!

Evening Gala Equine Art Contest
In addition to collecting and showing models, many hobbyists express their
love of horses in art. Whether it's a drawing of ponies on an envelope, a
photograph of your own horse, a sculpture of your ideal horse, or a painting
of wild horses running free, that love shows through. Your challenge is to
create your own piece of artwork with an equine theme - sketch, paint, sculpt,
sew, stitch, color, draw, assemble, photograph or use whatever medium you'd
like to use except a model horse. Your subject can be anything equine-related,
funny or serious, real or imaginary, as long as it doesn't include a model
horse. Entries will be divided into three categories - young artists age 12
and under, teen artists age 13 to 18, and adult artists over 18. This hobby
is full of creativity! Share your talents with your model friends!
To enter the Evening Gala Equine Art Contest:
1. Create a piece of original artwork with an equine theme in any artistic
medium EXCEPT a model horse.
2. Send in a picture of your artwork by July 1, 2007.
For digital photos, send in .jpg format to pscord@modelhorses.com with
the subject heading "Equine Art Contest entry".
For other photos, send to PS Cord & Company, 1136 S. Ahrens Avenue,
Lombard, IL 60148.
For each entry include the title of the artwork, the medium used, your
name, phone number, and category to be entered - artists 12 years old and
under, teen artists age 13-18, or adult artists over 18
3. Bring your artwork to display at the Peter Stone Evening Gala on
July 20, 2007. The audience will choose their favorite in each of the three
categories. Each winner will receive a special prize!
