Model Horse FAQ

Question: I've never heard of Peter Stone models. Is it a new company?
Answer: Mr. Stone worked for Breyer Molding Company, his father's company, for about 30 years, developing that line of model horses. He left in 1996 to develop his own line of realistic, high quality collectible models.

Question: What size are the Peter Stone models?
Answer: All models in the Stone Horses line are produced in a 9:1 scale. This gives you the natural size differences between the different breeds. The drafters are in proper proportion to the smaller breeds. The models vary in size with breed and are generally between 11 and 12 inches long.

Question: What are the Stone models made of?
Answer: Stone horses are made of cellulose acetate, a heavy duty vegetable-based plastic. They are produced entirely in the USA!
