I have been sculpting equines for over 60 years in bronze, silver, resin & clay. My husband, Larry Backstrom & I live in the mountain town of Plain, WA & work at our studio/offices in Cashmere, WA. We were engaged in 1994 after meeting on a blind date. I watch him jump his Dutch WB/TB gelding over 3' fences. We've been happily married now for nearly 23 years enjoying the blessing of living in the Pacific Northwest mountains where we hike, backpack, camp, mtn bike and enjoy the wild turkeys who we call "The Wild Bunch".
